Whee, I talk about my diploma in about every secend sentence. However, right now the status is ok. I finished a lot smaller things and I'm positive I'll finish most of the stuff needed for my mid-term exam in march.

I did sew five new costumes for this, but my models aren't cosplayers so I have to ask seriously if I may publish them in the internet. If not you'll have to wait for me to wear the costumes in a photoshoot, which will look pretty ridiculous in at least two cases lol

At the moment I can't wait to start on this con-seasons costumes, but they'll have to wait a little longer. I have no time for painting or drawing one little thing, which annoys me greatly cause I'd like to do some more aceo's.

Uuuuuh and I try getting familiar with the groups......XD

Thanks^^ I am a trained tailor. We didn't really learn to construct patterns in the apprenticeship, but well, it comes in here and there. Working with patterns/changing patterns a lot means experience, which of course helps a lot. For Plushies in general, most of the drawings have some lines on them to simulate the seams, following them ist mostly a good idea. Trying to think where e.g. a curve along this seam can make the plushy more 3-dimensional.
I have a downloadable pattern for the atashi and mokona plushy on my website (see picture description on these), they can basicly be used to be altered and get a basic idea of how bodys and round stuff work. Sadly my time is kinda short, I will sometime upload a pattern for a moogle and Kon too.
